Since version 1.56 you can cut with Cuttermaran at EVERY Point in the video stream. There will be generated one new GOP at the cut point. The video will not be encoded new. To enable the funcionalitity you must regard the following points:

1. TMPGEnc must be installed on your system. For 30 days the trial version will work fine. After this period you can encode MPEG1 only.
2. You must have a YV12 codec installed on your system. If your are not sure you have, there is a testvideo you can call from your "start menu". A YV12 codec is included in the current DivX version if you are searching for.
3. In Menu "Settings..." / "Encoding" you must activate the "encoding mode" and set the path to the TMPGEnc.exe.
4. If you will define your own encoding templates you can modify the path for them. The installed templates will work well normally.

Since version 1.58 you can use every MPEG-Compressor you like. This compressor must be controllable from other applications. You will need a provider in the 'Provider\encode' subfolder of your Cuttermaran installation to use this compressor.
