DskUsage: Disk Usage Shell Extension version 1.0, for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. Have you ever wanted to see what the distribution of files is on your hard disk? DskUsage adds a tab to the Properties dialog of every drive and folder on your PC which graphically shows which directories occupy the most space on your hard disk. Armed with this knowledge, you can free up more disk space in less time. To install the Disk Usage Shell Extension: · Unzip the installer files into a temporary directory. Choose an empty directory. · In the temp directory, double click on Setup.exe. This will install the shell extension in your windows\system directory and the Readme.txt file in the directory you choose during the install process. It also keeps some Uninstall information in this directory. · When you're done installing, you can use the shell extension without restarting Windows. You can delete the files in the temp directory and you can delete the readme.txt file too. · Note: the shell extension itself occupies 94kB of disk space. Most of the space in the archive consists of the installer. This program is freeware. It is freely distributable as long as the license agreement (readme.txt) is distributed with the program.
