How to restore quarantined files

Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal quarantines all files possibly infected with a virus or a virus modification that are detected during a scan of your computer (or individual disks, files etc.) or in real-time protection mode.
In order to restore a quarantined file:

select it in the list of quarantined objects and click the Restore button.

If an object was quarantined from a composite object (archive, mail database, etc.), it cannot be restored within this original composite object and the program will prompt you for a folder into which you wish to restore this object.

We recommend that you restore only objects with a false alarm status because restoring other objects may lead to infection of your computer!
