Checking the protection status
The current real-time protection status is displayed in the right-hand section of the Protection tab in
the main application window.
The real-time protection status is indicated by the following icons:
- Real-Time Protection is enabled. Your computer's protection level is set to Recommended.
- Real-Time Protection is enabled. Your protection settings do not match the recommended settings.
- Real-Time Protection is disabled or not working. If the protection is disabled,
you are advised to enable it. If real-time protection is not working, you are
advised to configure the real-time protection parameters (see section Troubleshooting real-time protection) and then enable it.
