*** Your private versions of the files DATUM.INI and SYMBOL_2.INI and SYMBOL_3.INI

*** General information on the program:

GARtrip is a Win-PC database program for users of a
Garmin GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver.

Garmin receivers are fully supported.
The support of Magellan receivers is new to the program and not yet fully tested.

This program requires Windows 95 or higher. For Windows 3.1 there is another
16 bit program (version 116) available, without the scanned maps feature, 
without support of new receiver models like eTrex, 
and some others.

Look at www.gartrip.de for actual program status information.

The functionality of GARtrip is described in detail in the
help file GARTRIP.HLP. This is context sensitive help. Just click
on a program item within gartrip, then press the F1 key.

File save is limited to 30 waypoints and one route and 500 track points. 
For unlimited save, a paid registration is needed.

Registration by private persons: The registration key is personal. 
You are not allowed to give it to any other person. 
You, and only you, are allowed to use the registered program 
on more than one computer.

Registration by a company or institution:
If your registration is named to a company or institution
then it may be used by several persons within this institution,

at a time then a suitable number of registrations is required.

Operating system: Windows 95 or higher.
One free serial port
Printer: Ink jet or laser printer with 300 dpi or more,
color printer preferred.

GPS receiver Garmin GPS 12, 12XL, 12CX, 48, II, II+, III, III+, III Pilot, 
40, 45, 38, 35, 89, 90, Street Pilot, Emap, eTrex, 76, and most others, 
and Magellan receivers.

Data cable.


Installation:
-------------
You have already unpacked the file 
G_204C.ZIP.

Thus you got the following files. Please move them to
an intermediate empty directory, e.g. C:\GARTRIP_install. 
Do not use the final gartrip directory.

In case of CD ROM delivery, you don't need to move these files.

In case you want to install the program on another computer you may
copy all the files to diskettes. No one is too big.

Run the program SETUP.EXE to install GARtrip.
After installation you may delete this intermediate directory.

Uninstall:
----------

In case you want to remove the program after installing it, use the
Windows System Control / Software to uninstall.
