Project Title: From Bach to Rock

Project Summary:
We will research composers and popular musical groups or soloists and create "clues both historical and musical.
We will e-mail "clues" to your class who will then try to discover the specific group or person. that corresponds to those clues.
Clues will be sent for two subjects.

Full Project Description:
My class of fifth graders will be using ENCARTA "98" for all their research.  We will be looking up composers as well as popular performing groups.  All the information obtained will be from ENCARTA.
We will e-mail clues to participating classes each Thursday.  You will have until the next Wednesday to identify the composer or group.  At the end of the project you may send us a composer or pop group to discover.


Objectives:
Students will learn to use research through an electronic encyclopedia.
Students will learn about numerous composers and popular performers and will listen to at least one of their most popular works.
