To stop a scheduled task that is running
Start Task Scheduler.
Right-click the task that you want to stop, and then click
End Task

Notes
If a scheduled task starts another program, this command stops only the original scheduled task, not the second task.
To restart a stopped task, right-click the task, and then click
Run
.
