Using the Web Application Stress Tool

To use the Web Application Stress Tool, you must create tests that accurately simulate your expected workload on the server, continuously adjusting test parameters and running tests until you reach this workload. Once you have devised an adequate test, you can determine which hardware resources to upgrade in order to support a given workload.

Exploring the Sample Script

Each time you start the Web Application Stress Tool, a script is created called Sample Script, which you can use to explore the features that the Web Application Stress Tool provides. The actual files used in the Sample Script are stored in the folder where you installed the Web Application Stress Tool.

Once you have examined the different items in the Sample Script, you can run the test. After it concludes, you can view the test report by clicking Reports from the View menu.
