TextViewer provides a graphical interface for quickly viewing text files on local or shared drives.
While this tool provides basic editing and searching capabilities, it is primarily intended for viewing similar files within multiple subfolders. For example, you could use TextViewer to skim through all the *.txt files within a Resource Kit or all the source files (*.c; *.cpp; *.cxx) within a Software Developers Kit.
In an expandable tree control, TextViewer displays files on a local or shared drive according to a file mask, which allows you to see all files or only certain file types. To select files for viewing, you double-click them.
