Playback Technical Notes and Version Information

• This version of the recorder filter has been tested on IIS versions 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0.
• This version of Playback will not play back the logs generated with the first version of the tool (provided with Beta releases of the Windows 2000 Resource Kit).
• The current Playback client is single-threaded and is not time-sensitive.
• The current version of the tool attempts to simulate users via cookie preservation; however, it is unable to utilize the socket and timing information.
