Installing the Internet Explorer Administration Kit

The Internet Explorer Administration Kit is not installed by the Windows 2000 Resource Kit setup program. To install it, use the following procedure:

To install the Internet Explorer Administration Kit

  1. Insert the Windows 2000 Resource Kit companion CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  2. When the Setup screen appears, click Explore the CD.
  3. In the <cdroot>\apps\IEAK directory, double-click Ieak5.exe.
  4. Follow the directions that appear on your screen.

To start the Internet Explorer Administration Kit

  1. Click Start.
  2. Point to Programs.
    3. Point to Microsoft IEAK, and then click the name of the component you want to run.
