ExeType Syntax

exetype filename

Where

filename: is the name of the executable file you want information about.
ExeType does not support wildcard characters for file names.

Note

The Exetype.ini file must be in a folder included on your computer's path (if unsure, type path at the command prompt). By default, the Windows 2000 Resource Kit installs ExeType to its root folder, which is on the path.
