Atanlyzr.exe: AppleTalk Network Device Analyzer

Atanlyzr.exe is a GUI tool that performs an AppleTalk lookup for registered AppleTalk devices on an AppleTalk network. You can perform a lookup of all AppleTalk devices, specific Net, Name, Type, or partial Name, and Types in the selected zone(s).

You can use this tool to find information on an AppleTalk network, such as what systems are routing, what system has a printer captured, or a list of printers or computers running Windows 2000. Each device returns values for its Net, Node, Socket, Name, Type, and Zone. The combinations of Net/Node/Socket or Name/Type/Zone are unique values.

Atanlyzr.exe lets you print the lookup results or save them in a tab-delimited text file (*.nlz is the default) that can be viewed with a word processor, spreadsheet, or text editor.

The computer that runs Atanlyzr.exe must have the AppleTalk stack installed. The stack is part of Services for Macintosh® and AppleTalk Protocol.
