Configuring Accessibility Options by Using Control Panel

The Accessibility Options icon in Control Panel allows users to easily customize properties that give users control of many of the accessibility features in Windows 2000. Users can turn the accessibility features on or off and can customize keyboard, sound, and mouse operations for the user's particular needs. Accessibility Options gives users access to the following features: StickyKeys, FilterKeys, ToggleKeys, SoundSentry, ShowSounds, MouseKeys, and SerialKeys.

In addition to the options for users with disabilities in Accessibility Options, Control Panel offers other ways to modify settings in a client computer. Users can modify settings in Display, Keyboard, Mouse, Sounds and Multimedia, and others. The following sections describe many other features as well as features designed specifically for users with disabilities.
