Remember, Abalone is Shareware--if you plan to keep it, please register your copy. You can purchase a registration code for just US$15; when you do, you'll be able to play Abalone beyond its 15-day evaluation period. (The registration code will be valid for all future versions of Abalone, so hang on to it.) You'll also automatically be added to random's mailing list of Abalone users, so you'll get notified when new versions and new features are released.

Abalone requires the following in order to run:

• Microsoft Windows 95 (or 98, or later) or Windows NT 4.0

• Microsoft DirectX Runtime version 3 or later (you can download this from Microsoft--it's about 3.5MB--but you may have it already because most recent games require it as well, and Windows 98 includes it by default)

• A video card capable of displaying at least a resolution of 640x480 at 256-colors

• A mouse
