Trying to find the right HTML editor can be a frustrating experience. Some are just way too basic, lacking in features, with feeble templates that you'd have been ashamed to use even back in 1997. Others are horrendously complicated, forcing you to pour over thick manuals before you can carry out even the simplest of tasks. But it doesn't have to be this way. Install NetObjects Fusion 9 and you'll find a tool capable of producing stylish, modern, professional web sites, yet it's also so easy to use that you'll rarely need to use the documentation at all.
When you're first creating a site, for instance, the program has a straightforward wizard to walk you through the key steps. After choosing a design from 17 different styles, each of which are available in 4 appealing colour schemes, you then get to pick a layout and define the default pages you'd like to create (everything from "Services" or "Legal" on a business site, to "Hobbies" and "Photo Gallery" if it's for personal use). If you're only after a basic site then there's little more to do, beyond replacing the default text and images with your own content, and that's no more difficult than using Microsoft Word.
NetObjects Fusion really comes into its own when you want to go further, though, with an excellent range of components that you can draw on the page. There's everything from image rollovers, news tickers, an RSS feed and Google search box, to a thumbnail photo gallery, SQL-based data source control and complete E-Commerce tool, and you can add any of them in just a few clicks, no coding required.
