Edit the 'Add / Remove Software' List

Lots of people were asking for an option to edit the list of installed programs - sometimes when an application is reoved from the computer, the uninstall link does remain in the list of installed software although the software was already uninstalled. Or, the link to the uninstaller is corrupted and the uninstaller does not start when selected from the 'Add / Remove software' control panel.

Tweak-XP can help you here. It list all entries of the 'Add / Remove software' control panel and you can easily manipulate uninstaller settings or remove complete entries that were left behind.

Instructions:

Choose an entry from the lists of installed programs.
By selecting a software title, title and link to the uninstaller are displayed in the 'Title' and 'Command' fields.
Edit the settings or remove it by clicking either the 'Save changes' or the 'Delete selected entry' button.
To start the uninstaller of a selected program, click the 'Start selected (un)installation' button.
