Atomic Clock

Using this feature of Tweak-XP you can adjust your system date/time to the correct time that was received from an 'Atomic-Clock' time server on the internet. This will ensure that the correct time is being displayed on your machine.

How to use this feature:

  • Connect to the internet.

  • Choose one of the time-servers from the drop-down list box. Tweak-XP will connect to the selected time server when you ...

  • Click the 'Connect to "Time-Server"...' button.

  • Tweak-XP will now receive the current time data from the internet and set your system time according to the time-data received.

  • If there are any errors, the 'Status' text-field will keep you informed - in that case, try a different time-server.

If you want the system-time to be corrected whenever Tweak-XP is started, please check the 'Automatically correct...' check box. Tweak-XP will than connect to the 'Time-Server' on the internet as soon as Tweak-XP is started.
