I get the message "This preset requires a feature not supported by the currently selected scanner (scanner name)."

You have selected a scanning preset that specifies one or more options that are not available on the selected scanner. Select a different scanning preset, edit the preset, or select a different scanner. You can also choose to bypass the presets and use your scanner driver software directly. If you click OK, Microsoft Office Document Imaging will attempt to scan, ignoring the unsupported preset option.

Edit a preset

1. Select a preset in the Microsoft Office Document Scanning dialog box.

2. Click Preset options, click Edit selected preset, and then choose settings in the Preset Options dialog box that match your scanner's capabilities.

• Click Scanner, and then select a scanner from the list.

• Click Scanner, and then click the Show scanner driver dialog before scanning check box.
