I get the message "Please remove the paper from the flatbed. Add paper in the document feeder and click OK."

You are running the scanner testing procedure. To continue the scanner testing procedure, follow these steps.

1. Remove any paper from the flatbed of the scanner.
2. Load the document feeder with approximately 15 sheets of paper. (Blank sheets of paper are acceptable for the scanner test.)
3. In the message box, click OK.
