In this step, you select the existing workbooks that contain information you want to copy to the database. Use the Preview area to make sure that the values from the workbooks will be copied to the correct database fields.
Files to convert
Lists workbooks with data for the wizard to copy to the database.
Add a file to convert Click Select, and then locate the workbook you want. If the active workbook you are using to create the template also contains data you want to include in the database, select the active workbook as well.
To select multiple workbooks in the Select Files to Convert dialog box, hold down CTRL and click each workbook. To select a series of adjacent files, hold down SHIFT and click the first and last files in the series.
Remove a file from the list Click the workbook, and then click Delete.
Preview
area
When you click a workbook in the Files to convert box and then click Preview, this area displays the data that the wizard will copy from the selected workbook to the database fields. Use the scroll bar to view all of the fields.
If data appears in the wrong fields, click Delete to remove the file from the Files to convert box.
Table
Identifies the sheet or table in the database where the data will be copied. If you're using an existing database that has multiple sheets or tables, click the one you want to copy the data to.
