Troubleshoot layout guides, ruler guides, and the ruler

I can't see my guides.

• Parts of your guides may be hidden by opaque objects you've placed over them. To make an object transparent, click the object and then press CTRL+T.
• If all your guides are hidden, click Boundaries and Guides on the View menu.

I can't move a ruler guide.

It may have been created on the background. On the View menu, click Master Page, and then try moving the guide again.

I selected points as my unit of measure, but I don't see points on the ruler.

Points are too small to be  displayed clearly on the ruler. When you select points as the unit of measure, Publisher displays picas on the ruler instead. There are 12 points in each pica.
