Specify a title and a filename for a Web page

A Web page title is visible in a Web browser title bar (blue bar below). It is used as the text for a "favorite," or  "bookmark." It also might be displayed in a list of sites found during a Web search.

The title on this page is "Welcome To Microsoft"

A Web page file name is the actual name of the file created in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) format for a given single page in Microsoft Publisher. It has an .htm or .html extension; for example, Kennel.html. Publisher lets you set a file name for each separate page of your Web publication. "Index.html" and "Default.htm" are both popular names for a home page.
