Turn on the highlight for text in graphic regions

What is a graphic region?

When objects on a Web page overlap, they define a rectangular area called a graphic region ("A" below).

The graphic region tells you when objects are layered on a Web page.

Whether the area includes text ("B" above) or graphics, Microsoft Publisher generates everything within the graphic region as a graphic.

Turn the highlight for text in graphic regions on

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. To turn the highlight for text in graphic regions on, select the Show rectangle for text in Web graphic region box.
