Add objects to the Drawing Canvas

Use the Object toolbar

• Use the tools on the Object toolbar to add objects to the Drawing Canvas.

Drag objects on and off the Drawing Canvas

• You can drag an object onto the Drawing Canvas. It then becomes part of the Canvas. When you move or delete the Drawing Canvas, that object goes with it.
• You can drag an object off the Drawing Canvas and onto your page, then work with it as you would any other object.

Edit objects on the Drawing Canvas

1. Select the object on the Drawing Canvas.
2. Do the following:
   • Use the tools on the  Formatting menu to make any changes you want to objects on the Drawing Canvas.
3. When you finish your picture, click anywhere in the Microsoft Publisher workspace to close the Drawing Canvas.

Format the Drawing Canvas but not the objects on it

1. Select the Drawing Canvas.

2. On the Formatting toolbar, click Format Drawing Canvas.

3. On the Format Drawing Canvas dialog box, make the changes you want.
