Generate a list of fonts missing in a publication

When you open a publication on a computer that does not have the fonts used in the publication, Microsoft Windows will substitute fonts so that you can read the text in your publication. The Font Substitution dialog box displays the missing font, the suggested font to substitute, and the status of the substitution. Microsoft Publisher does not save fonts that are replaced temporarily in the publication.

  1. On the Tools menu, point to Commercial Printing Tools, and then click Fonts.
  2. In the Fonts dialog box, click Font substitution.
