About the difference between opening and inserting a file
There is a subtle difference between opening a
file and inserting a file. You
open files
by clicking Open
. Many
types of text files
are opened this way.
Insert text or graphic
files that were not created in
Microsoft Publisher by clicking the Picture or Text
File command on the Insert menu.
Text can be inserted into a text box
or table. Pictures are
imported into a picture frame.
