Set the size of a PivotTable list and its elements

Automatically resize the control on a Web page to fit its contents

1. On the PivotTable list toolbar, click Commands and Options , and then click the Behavior tab.
2. Select the Auto fit the control check box.

3. To prevent the PivotTable list from expanding beyond a specified size, type a value in pixels in the Maximum height box and/or the Maximum width box.

Note   Scroll bars appear within the PivotTable list when more data is available than will fit in the area.

Change the width of a column in the row, column, detail, or data area

1. Point to the right boundary of the field label until the pointer changes to .
2. Do one of the following:

   • To increase or decrease the width, drag the boundary until the column is the width you want.

   • To make the column width fit the contents, double-click the column boundary.

Note   You cannot adjust the height of the rows in a PivotTable list.
