View information about a field or item

1. In the design window, make sure the PivotTable list is activated. For instructions, see Help for your design program.
2. Do one of the following:
   • For information about a field, click the label of the field.
   • For information about an item of data in a field, click the item.
3. On the toolbar in the PivotTable list, click Commands and Options , and then click the Captions tab.
