Change the margins around text in an AutoShape or text box

1. Click the border of the AutoShape or text box whose margins you want to change.
2. If you selected an AutoShape, click AutoShape on the Format menu, and then click the Margins tab.

   If you selected a text box, click Text Box on the Format menu, and then click the Margins tab.

3. Under Internal margin, adjust the measurements to increase or decrease the distance between the text and the object.
