Specify anonymous user access settings
This feature is available on webs hosted by web servers running SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft and FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 only.
- On Tools menu, point to Server, and then click Administration Home.
- On the Site Administration page, under Users and Roles, click Change anonymous access settings.
- Click On or Off to enable or disable anonymous (guest) browsing to your web site.
- If anonymous user access is enabled, select a role from the Assign anonymous users to the following role list.
- Click Submit.
Tip
If none of the current roles offer the level of access that you want anonymous (guest) users to have, create a custom role for them.
