Specify Server Health Check settings

The Server Health Check is available on webs hosted by web servers running SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft and FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 only.

1. On Tools menu, point to Server, and then click Administration Home.
2. On the Site Administration page, under Server Health, click Change server health settings.
3. In the Enable Server Health area, select On or Off.
4. If Server Health Checking is enabled, in the Recurrence Settings area, specify how often you want the Server Health Check to occur.
5. Click Submit.

Notes

• If you don't see the Change server health settings option, you are probably in a subweb and need to go to the top-level web site of the server or virtual server. See your network administrator or ISP for more information.
• You can run a Server Health Check any time using the Check server health option on the Site Administration page.
