Make a color in a graphic transparent

1. In Page view, click the graphic.
2. On the Pictures toolbar, click Set Transparent Color .

   Note   To display the Pictures toolbar, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Pictures.

3. Click the color in the graphic that you want to make transparent.

Note   When you save the page, Microsoft FrontPage prompts you to save the graphic in GIF format, even if the original graphic is in JPEG format (JPEG format does not support transparency). If FrontPage converts the graphic from another file format to GIF, the number of colors in the graphic may be reduced and the graphic file may become larger.
