Resample a graphic

Resampling a graphic changes its pixel size to match its current display size.

  1. Before you can resample a graphic, you must resize it.

    How?

    1. In Page view, right-click the graphic, click Picture Properties on the shortcut menu, and then click the Appearance tab.
    2. Select the Specify size check box.
    3. If you want to preserve the height-to-width proportions, select the Keep aspect ratio check box.

Note   If you select this check box and then enter a pixel value in either the Width or Height box, Microsoft FrontPage automatically changes the value in the other box to preserve the graphic's proportions.

    4. Specify whether you want to change the size in pixels or in percentage, and then enter values in the Width and Height boxes.
  2. In Page view, click the graphic that you have resized.
  3. On the Pictures toolbar, click Resample .

Note   To display the Pictures toolbar, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Pictures.
