Remove a style

Remove a style from an embedded CSS

  1. In Page view, open the page that contains the embedded cascading style sheet (CSS).

  2. From the Normal pane, click the Format menu, and then click Style.
  3. In the List box, select User-defined styles.
  4. In the Style box, select the user-defined style you want to delete, or the built-in style from which you want to remove custom formatting characteristics.
  5. Click Delete.

Note   If the page is linked to an external CSS, the list of available styles in the Style box may include user-defined styles from the external CSS. If you want to delete a user-defined style from an external CSS, you must edit the external CSS.

Remove a style from an external CSS

  1. On the View menu, click Folders list.
  2. In the Folders list, double-click the external cascading style sheet (CSS) you want to open.
  3. On the Format menu, click Style.
  4. In the Style box, select the style you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete.
