Put text on a graphic

  1. In Page view, click the graphic.
  2. On the Pictures toolbar, click Text .

    Note   If the graphic is in JPEG format, Microsoft FrontPage prompts you to save it in GIF format, because text is not supported on JPEG graphics. If FrontPage converts the graphic to GIF format, the number of colors in the graphic might be reduced and the file might become larger.

  3. Type the text into the box that is displayed on the graphic.
  4. Format the text — for example, you can change the font or color, as you would with other text.

    How?

    1. Click the text box, and then select the text.
    2. On the Format menu, click Font.
    3. Choose the formatting options you want.
