Hide a web page

If you do not want site visitors to see certain pages in a web, you can hide these pages by placing them in the hidden folder _private, a folder that is in every web site.

  1. In Folders view, select the pages you want to hide.

    How?

Hold down CTRL, and click the pages you want to select.

  2. Drag the selected pages to the _private folder.

Microsoft FrontPage automatically updates any hyperlinks to and from these pages to reflect their new location.

Tip

You can create subfolders in the _private folder to organize pages, because subfolders in the _private folder are also inaccessible to Web browsers.
