Important A SharePoint team Web site must be created on a Web server running SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft.
Step 1 — Determine where your web site will be located
I don't have a hosting location for my web site
If your web site will be on the Internet You need a web site hosting account.
A web site hosting account is needed to make your web site visible to the world. A hosting service, known as an Internet service provider (ISP), or a Web Presence Provider (WPP), can provide you with an account and URL (HTTP location).
There are many well-known web site hosting companies that offer SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft for creating and editing SharePoint team Web sites.
