Enable or disable scripts

Choose to enable or disable one or both of the following:

VBScript

1. On the Tools menu, click Page Options, and then click the Compatibility tab.
2. To enable or disable VBScript, select or clear the VBScript check box.

Note   If you specify in the Browsers box that your web site should be compatible with Netscape Navigator only (and select any browser version), Both Internet Explorer and Navigator, or Microsoft Web TV, VBScript is disabled by default. If you override the default and enable VBScript, your web site might not be displayed properly, or it might contain errors.

JavaScript

1. On the Tools menu, click Page Options, and then click the Compatibility tab.
2. To enable or disable JavaScript, select or clear the JavaScript check box.

Note   If you specify in the Browsers box that your web site should be compatible with Microsoft Web TV, JavaScript is automatically disabled by default. If you override the default and enable JavaScript, your web site might not be displayed properly, or it might contain errors.
