Use an existing database connection

Database connections are stored in the web site. Web site authors can then use the stored connections as needed.

1. To use an existing database connection:

   When a database results region exists

   Right-click anywhere in the database results region, and then click Database Results Properties on the shortcut menu.

   When a database results region does not yet exist

   Start the Database Results Wizard by clicking the Insert menu, pointing to Database, and then clicking Results.

2. In Step 1 of the wizard, click Use an existing database connection, and then select a database connection that is different from the one currently in use.
3. Click Next until you reach the last step of the wizard, and then click Finish.
