This section covers configuring SmartPop accounts. SmartPop accounts are used to connect to mailboxes on the host server (usually the ISP's) to retrieve incoming mail.

'Start' button |
Enables the SmartPop account. This button will change to to indicate the account is enabled. |

'Stop' button |
Disables the SmartPop account. This button will change to to indicate the account is no longer enabled. |

'Delete this SmartPop' button |
Allows you to delete this SmartPop account. The account must be stopped by clicking the 'Stop' button next to the account you wish to delete before you can delete it. |

'Rename this account' button
|
Allows you to rename the SmartPop account. For more information on renaming SmartPop accounts See the Renaming SmartPop account topic in the Examples section of this document.
To view the settings for an account, click on its name in the list. |

'Poll SmartPop' button |
Forces the connection to allow SmartPop account(s) to check for any waiting mail. |
