This is a list of the rules defined for this account. These are executed in order and all matches will be applied.
A rule will match if any of its components match. A match is defined as the text in the rule box appearing in the text for that field of the message. e.g.
A from rule containing 'ad.com' will match a from line containing 'fred@sad.com' or 'bob@addanad.com'.
A To rule containing 'bob' will match a to line containing 'bob@domain1.com' or 'bob@domain2.com'

Define the "From" line for the rule. FTGate will attempt to match the "From" line defined here with the "From" line in the message.
If a match is found the message will be delivered to the user defined in the 'Deliver to' field below. |

Define the "To" line for the rule. FTGate will attempt to match the "To" line defined here with the "To" line in the message.
If a match is found the message will be delivered to the user defined in the 'Deliver to' field below. |
Subject |
Define the "Subject" line for the rule. FTGate will attempt to match the "Subject" line defined here with the 'Subject' line in the message.
If a match is found the message will be delivered to the user defined in the 'Deliver to' field below. |
Deliver to |
Defines who the message should be delivered to if a match is found in any of the above fields. It should match the domain name defined in the SmartPop settings 'Unless a recipient is found that is a member of the following domain' field. |
To create a rule enter the From, To or Subject line, and the recipient in the Deliver to field, then press the 'Create new rule' button.
Additional features available on this page are as follows:
To remove a Rule select the one you wish to remove, click the 'Delete rule' button. This will remove the selected rules from the list.
To remove all 'Rules' click the 'Delete all rules' button. This will remove all rules from the list.
To change a rule, follow these steps:
1. Select the rule you wish to change, by clicking on it.
2. Edit the defined details in the From, To or Subject fields.
3. Click on the 'Change selected rule' button. The changed rule will appear in the list.
