Send copy  to:

This option sends a copy of outgoing messages (from the user) to the local mailbox named here (full email address required, e.g. user@domain.com). This also includes incoming messages that are forwarded.

An example of a use of this would be to send a copy of all messages to the user's supervisor for training or quality control purposes.

No forwarding. The message is simply delivered to the mailbox.

Forward and keep

Forward the message to the defined address in the 'Forward To:' below, and leave a copy of the message in this mailbox.

Forward and delete

Forward the message to the defined address in the 'Forward To:' below, and delete the message.

Forward to:

Who to send the forwarded message to. This should be the full email address of the recipient, even if the recipient is local. It can also be a list of email addresses separated by semicolons.

Defines whether the user is on site or a remote user. Also useful when the users are on holiday/vacation.

Show as here

The user is on site.

Show as out

The user is off site, but no message will be sent.

Note: If the user is a member of a group with the 'Round robin' option enabled, messages to the group will bypass this mailbox when this option is selected.

Show as out and send following message

The user is off site and the defined message will be sent as a reply to a message received.

Each sender will only receive one out of office reply, irrespective of the number of messages sent to the mailbox.

Note: If the user is a member of a group with the 'Round robin' option enabled, messages to the group will bypass this mailbox when this option is selected.
