Mailbox

The mailbox page provides information on the current state and contents of the mailbox. For Groups the mailbox is usually empty. For lists the mailbox maintains an archive of posted messages (if the checkbox is set on the List mailboxes tab

Property	Description
Path	This is the path to the mailbox folder.
Message count	Number of messages waiting in the mailbox.
Byte count	Total size of messages in bytes.

When messages are waiting in the mailbox, they will be listed below:

Message list

Property	Description
ID	Message ID number.
From	Who sent the message, as defined in the message header.
Subject	The subject line of the message.
Size	The size of the message in bytes.
To	The To: line from the message, this may not be the same as the mailbox name as it could be a message that was forwarded to this mailbox.

You can click on the sender's address to send a message to the sender.

To view a message, click on the message's subject. This will reveal the following page:

Message View

The message is shown in its raw text format. The information up until the first blank line is the header, and what follows is the message body, including any attachments.

To reply to the message sender

To send a message to the sender of the message click the button.

To delete a message

To delete the message from the users mailbox click the button. Click the 'OK' button to confirm the request to delete the message The message will then be deleted and you will be returned to the previous page.
