This page defines the settings of the SmartPop Account including the following:
Your mailbox name at the ISP
The password for that mailbox
The host name (machine name where the mailbox is located)
The above information is entered in the following fields:

Host name or IP address |
Enter the ISP's POP3 server name or IP number. |
Port |
In most cases this should be left as the default of 110. By convention POP3 uses port 110. |
Login name |
Enter the name of your mailbox on the ISP's server. |
Password |
Enter the password for the mailbox named above. |
Maximum number of concurrent SmartPop sessions |
Defines how many POP3 mailboxes at the ISP(s) will be checked at the same time.
Note: Some ISPs restrict this to a defined number of concurrent connections from any one IP address. Reduce this if you get the error 'Too many concurrent connections...' or similar. |

The 'Test SmartPop connection' button will establish and test the connection to the mailbox on the ISP's POP3 Server using the defined user name, password host name and port number.
A Popup dialogue box will appear after the test is complete, showing the result of the test.
