This section allows you to define the dial-up profile and configure the settings FTGate will use when connecting to the ISP/Internet.

Dial-up Profile |
Select the dial-up profile from those available in the drop-down list. If there are no dial-up profiles listed you will see the phrase "No Profiles defined". You will need to create/define one on the FTGate machine.

Login username |
Define the username you use to login when you dial the ISPÆs server. |

Login password |
Define the password you use to login when you dial the ISPÆs server. |

When Connecting |

Connect timeout |
Timeout waiting for the connection to be established. |
|
Login timeout |
Timeout waiting for logging in to the ISPÆs server. |
|
Retry after |
If the connection attempt fails, FTGate will attempt to establish the connection after the time defined. |
|
Max attempts |
The maximum number of attempts to establish a connection. |
|
Start delay |
A short period to allow the connection to stabilize after being established, before the mail transfer begins. |
