The oldest message has been waiting for the period defined, e.g. if you set the period to 30m (m =minutes) when the oldest message reaches 30 minutes old, the connection will be established and messages sent. |
Send priority messages immediately |

If a message tagged as "High priority" is received by FTGate the connection will be established and the messages sent (all messages will be sent). messages are "High Priority" if they match any of entries on the Priority page. |
Enable this option to deliver mail direct to the "Best host" for the recipient. This is usually their ISP's server or their own mail server, if they are connected to the Internet with a permanent connection like a DSL, ADSL, kilo-stream or mega-stream connection.

Checking this box enables the MX delivery system. Forces FTGate to perform a DNS lookup (using the defined DNS servers in the specified schedule properties). The messages will be routed to the æBest host for the recipientÆ according to the MX record data returned by the lookup.

When DNS lookups fail |

Forward undeliverable mail to ISP

This option will send mail to the ISPÆs server for forwarding to the recipient if the DNS lookup fails or the host server is not reachable. |
