One Player Mode II. Two Player Versus Mode III. Featuring Mode IV. Training Mode V. Options All Modes ========= A win takes place when one of three things happen. The ref counts a wrestler's shoulders to the mat for a three count, a submission occurs (rare) or your break two different parts of a wrestler's body (the ref will then stop the match). I. One Player Mode The One Player Mode allows one player to take control of a premade character (not one that you created in the featuring mode) and fight against each of the CPU characters (11 in total). When you win against all 11 characters you are treated to a nice FMV ending based on the character you choose. II. Two Player Versus Mode This mode allows you to take on one of your friends in a one on one battle. There is a nice feature after you fight a bout called "Simple Select"... This allows you to choose the characters who want to use by simply selecting their names (instead of taking the time to load the usual select screen). You can use premade characters or created wrestlers (in memory or via password) in this mode. III. Featuring Mode This is the mode that allows you to create a wrestling character and take him on the road to winning the All Japan Triple Crown Championship. First you will start off with a character that doesn't have many moves, is not very strong or is not easy to win with. As you progress the more you win the more points you gain to spend on moves for each character, and you will become stronger. Win the first 7 matches and then proceed to the tournament for the All Japan Triple Crown Championship! IV. Training Mode There cannot be enough said about the training mode. If you want to learn the timing of the game, how to do moves, simply go here. You'll be able to pratice them, see what buttons you are pressing and learn all about the workings of the game. This is the first stop to mastering the game! V. Options From here you can change different options, sample sound FX, background music and crowd chants. You can also set the difficulty of the game.
