AmiMasterGear V0.2 Preview
This SMS/GG emulator is written by Juan Antonio Gomez, as you might have guessed from Spain. Written in assembler this emulator is quite fast, a little buggy though, but it is to be expected considering the early stage it's at.
It currently has a lot of problems with Game Gear roms, where by a lot do not work at all and even the ones that do most have some sort of Graphics corruption, including the colour palletes being all over tha place. On the plus side, most SMS roms I tested worked and the emulator has almost full sound !
Look out for more to come from this guy, but be patient as he's working
on 3 emulators at once ! This is a must for those people wanting a nostalgic look at their SMS/GG's.
Compatible: 68020-68060, AGA+ 1meg+ (Fast)

Would you believe yet another Marat Fayzullin emulator ! Is this guy an emulating genius or what ?! Although originally written for the
Unix/X11 systems it was kindly ported to the Amiga by Mark van Hal. Still very much in it's early stages it does not support sound on the Amiga release (well not as far as I could tell), but claims to run 95% of
SMS/GG roms tested by Marat Fayzullin. It ran most of those I threw at it, including the Game Gear roms. The emulation is VERY slow although I managed to get a semi reasonable frame rate. AMG runs a lot faster but the emulation is not as good yet. Get this if you have a lot of patience or an 68060 like I do, and even then some patience !
I just managed to get a newer version of Aminet, we're now upto V1.0d, improvements include 2.2 times faster (although I noticed some speed improvements I can't say whether it's 2.2 times... I might test the "old" version against the new just to tell), compatibility with OCS/ECS machines with atleast an 020 and a GUI for those CLI wimps. Colours now display properly in GG mode using a 512 colour pallete.
There is still no sound or joystick support, but given time I'm sure it will come....
Compatible: 68020-68060, OCS+, 1meg+ (Currently crashes under OCS/ECS)
