* Oh look! RAM's cheaper... AGAIN!
* Phase5 products are being shipped FROM Germany on the 17th of May.
We have ordered Blizzard 2060's, Blizzard 1260's, and CyberVision64's.
CyberStorm 060 MkII's are still not available.
Get your order in now if you want any of these products because
  quantities are limited!
* Quantum Fireball 1280S drives are back-ordered right now. Still the
best size/price drive available right now. 1.28 GIG for $439.95.
  Due on Friday the 17th.
* NACbot on IRC now does real-time currency conversion between 21
different currencies all online. NACbot also does unlimited
Aminet searches. /msg nacb help for more information.
* Aminet 11 has finally arrived. Quantities are limited so order now!
* Seems a very well known Amiga engineer has recently been hired
  on at VIScorp.
* We have changed our database that we run everything off of from
QuickFile to Twist2. We do not have the full Arexx information
for Twist2 yet, so our online ctalog will not be updated until that
happens. Our new catalog will have seperate sections for different
types of hardware and software etc..
* A new distributive rendering package for LightWave has just come out.
It's called Light Socket and is quite nice. I have used it here
between our machines. See below for some information on it.
* National Amiga is now ISDN'ed. I'm working on getting that dedicated
  connection now :)

D'Visions is pleased to announce the premier-release of LightSocket,
the render-controller for use with LightWave 3D. Light Socket allows
you to queue several scenes so that you can leave LightWave unattached
and have one scene processed after another - automatically!

Futhermore, certain scene options can be customized: Resolution,
Anti-aliaising, Motion Blur, Image Save Paths, and others. LightSocket
will write out a new scene file, with a different name, which it loads
into LightWave.

Light Socket currently supports Elan-DFS, AmiTCP, Parnet and Envoy.

As a machine finishes working on a frame, Light Socket will send it the
next frame to be rendered, so faster machines are fully utilized. When
all frames are completed, that machine will be instruction to load the
next scene. This continues until all scenes are rendered.
